The little flap with IQ

Standard windows often suffer from one of the following problems: either they seal all too well, and prevent the necessary exchange of inside and outside air. The result: mould and mildew develop on the casing. Or average ventilation windows provide the necessary fresh air, but also are a source of annoying drafts.

GEALAN studied this dilemma, and developed GECCO (GEalan Climate COntrol): an inconspicuous ventilation system that works within the window frame, a "climate control" in the window profile! GECCO - the little flap with IQ - ensures optimum room atmosphere whilst preventing uncomfortable drafts.

GECCO has been recognised with citations and awards, and had been the main topic of several seminars, symposiums and press appearances. It is ingeniously simple and simply ingenious, the little flap with the large effect.

GECCO plus

Further development on the GECCO ventilation system resulted in GECCO Plus for the S 7000 IQ series. GECCO Plus is even more sensitive, and reacts to pressure differentials as low as 50 pa.

GECCO 3

A new generation of ventilation systems was developed for usage in the rebate seal systems S 3000 and S 8000 IQ. The custom solution GECCO 3 is not only available for existing windows, but can be retrofitted on any standard rebate seal window.
